Beyonce’s Father Mathew Knowles Marries Longtime Girlfriend

Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles and actress Kerry Washington have both managed to get married during wedding season but keep it a secret.

Kerry secretly married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha on June 24 in Idaho.

Beyonce’s dad Mathew married his longtime girlfriend Gena Avery in Houston.

According to USA Today:

“His representative told The Associated Press on Friday that he has wed former model Gena Charmaine Avery in Houston, Texas. The pair had been engaged for a year and a half. The 48-year-old Avery is a realtor.

Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles filed for divorce from Mathew after nearly 30 years of marriage. Knowles, the head of Music World Entertainment, was accused of infidelity and even fathered a child with his then-mistress. Gena Avery, however, is not the mother of his third child.”

It is unclear if Mathews’ daughters attended the wedding. Beyonce instead shared some sexy photos of her 4th of July weekend along with baby Blue.

The Halo singer channeled her inner vixen as she donned an American flag- embellished short-shorts in front of a classic Rolls Royce.
